Days 4-11/63, Amsterdam to Bruges Belgium by Boat and Bike, 303 km (188 miles) of pedaling.
The Netherlands and Belgium were very scenic. People were very nice. Cars, bikes, and pedestrians each had their own lanes. Biking was a great way to experience both countries. Netherlands and Belgium have two of the largest ports in the world, with lots of ships going up and down the canals.
I enjoyed getting to know everyone on the ship. We had one nasty day of rain, and lightning and thunder while we rode. Not great, but the other days were much more fun.
We then bussed into Paris and took a Seine river tour, which gave us a different perspective of the city than we had seen before. ~Laurie
Day 4, Amsterdam to Breukelen, 41 km (25.5 miles)

Day 5, Schoonhoven to Kinderdijk, 39 km (24.25 miles)

Day 6, Tholen to Antwerp, 55 km (34.2 miles)
This was the day of thunder and lightning. Even with rain jackets we were soaked.
